“I do my thing and you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it’s beautiful. If not, it can’t be helped.”
Life is ever changing and unpredictable at times. Gaining control of your emotions and utilizing the ability to effectively communicate on a consistent basis will prove to reduce external and internal stressors, which in return will increase the quality of life on a daily basis.
As a professional counselor, I have been blessed with the opportunity to be trained and educated by professionals with decades of experience that have allowed me the opportunity to be placed in therapeutic situations that go beyond the traditional therapeutic setting. I feel that my life experiences have given me the opportunity to understand strained situations and the ability to cope. Everyone has a story, trials, tribulations, successes, failures and uncertainties. How we deal with each situation shapes and molds us into the people we become and how we influence others.
