My therapeutic approach to counseling has been shaped in part by my experience in dealing with trauma and crisis intervention. By counseling others, I have found that the same situation can be perceived differently by each individual. With that in mind, I believe tailoring the counseling experience to each client’s individual construct and backgrounds is paramount to the success of their mental health journey.
I have 4 years of experience as a counselor and have had the privilege of working with adolescents as well as adults in both inpatient and critical outpatient settings.
I also have had the honor of working in different non-profit, community based crises settings. This experience has sharpened my abilities to connect with clients of all backgrounds through patience, creativity, and understanding; developing specific care plans for each individual client.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University in Psychology. I later received my Master’s degree from Liberty University in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. My goal in counseling couples and families is to restore hope in difficult situations and help to promote stronger relationships.
